Our skilled staff can also assist you with routine dental procedures and regular check-ups. There is no job too big or small for our Dubai dentists.

Going to the dentist can be very overwhelming for many people but our staff are trained to deal with the anxiety and make every visit as stress-free as possible. Even younger children are treated patiently to set them at ease and give them confidence during their dental visit.

These are some of our common procedures:

  • Teeth cleaning: patients are advised to schedule regular check-ups with the dentist every six months. It is during these routine visits that the oral hygienist will do a thorough dental exam to check for any potential problems, like gingivitis, that you may be unaware of. If there is an issue, the dentist will be called in.
Any tartar or plaque build-up is removed using a scaler. You will hear a scraping sound which is normal. Next, a gritty paste is applied to the teeth for a gentle scrub to remove any residual tartar or plaque. You will rinse your mouth with a mouthwash to remove all the paste. Fluoride treatment goes on next which serves as a protectant for your teeth.
And you’re done until your next appointment in six months to a year depending on how well you brush and floss to prevent plaque build-up.
  • Paediatric patients: Ideally, young children should have their first visit to the dentist 6 months after the first tooth comes out of the gums. Early visits to the dentist set the tone for later visits where the child will not be scared of the dentist.
  • Extractions: if there is no way the tooth can be saved by other available procedures, the affected tooth will be extracted. You will be injected with a local anaesthetic and will not feel any sensations, like pain. The tooth is carefully removed, and you will be asked to bite onto a gauze pad to help stop the bleeding. You may be given some painkillers to alleviate any pain after the local anaesthetic wears off. You will make a full recovery after about 24 hours.
  • Fillings: : If you have a cavity, your tooth can be saved by having a filling. The dentist will carefully remove all signs of decay and fill your tooth with a special material. This will harden and your tooth function, like grinding and chewing, will be restored.
  • Caps or dental crowns: these are placed over the top of a damaged tooth strengthen, improve the appearance and fix the shape of the tooth. There are many types of materials that are used, and your dentist will discuss the alternatives with you.
  • Bridges or implants: any missing teeth can be replaced by fixing a bridge or tooth implant in the area. This will allow you to chew and speak properly, prevent the remaining teeth from becoming misaligned and restores your smile and confidence.
